Aldeia da Fonte is built with care for the environment, and carefully integrated into its natural surroundings, with six houses made from volcanic stone set among lush gardens and near ocean cliffs.

The hotel's home is Pico Island, one of the nine islands of the Azores, and the seat of the majestic Pico Mountain. The islands lie in the hear t of the Atlantic Ocean, where the old world and the new world meet halfway.

With eight suites, 16 studios and 16 rooms, Aldeia da Fonte is what we call a small "nature hotel," set in a spacious resort (FONTE RESORT) where you can enjoy the sea, the woods, gardens, trails and facilities.

Here you can relax and rest, feeling positive energy from the charm, nature and serenity of the grounds. You also can enjoy the region's biodiversity with whales, dolphins, shearwater seabirds, terns, songbirds – and even bats and lizards!
